Workhorse was a hard record to write. A lot of my world was disintegrating and uncertain during its preliminary writing stage, and I did my best to simply abandon some of my fears and anxieties about the content of my work in favor of just pushing as hard and as fiercely as I could. Naturally this makes for some pretty loud tunes. It's my genuine hope that you take my struggle and effort as encouragement to also do your best in spite of the world we've been yoked with.
